God deals with everyone in the whole world, whether for blessing or for cursing!

But we must come to God on HIS terms!

We're going to cover about what happened last Sabbath, and it turned out to be about 20 minutes before I was finished with my message that Darlene Reddaway texted Jonathan that President Trump had been shot.

He brought it up to me right after services, and then we turned on the news to watch what happened. But it's very interesting, the times that we are living in. I want to focus in on three things with this:

  • Trump's reaction to it
  • the way that it happened
  • the things that occurred during the Republican convention

Very interesting indeed!

Now then, we know this, that God watches over Israel all the time. God does things for Israel, the tribes of Israel today, just exactly like Eduardo brought out—message: Our Delivererthat God deals with us!

Now there has been a great deal of progress that has been made by a lot of people going against all of the satanism introduced by the 'woke' people and the Democrats.

That means that we were sitting right on the verge of some very difficult things indeed. However, reaction to that and righteous judgments from the Supreme Court in addition to it have set the stage for what we are about to see.

Just exactly as Eduardo has pointed out, that all the wickedness is coming upon the wicked because of what they did. We look at what the Democrats are doing right now and please understand this: God is interested in America and the Church and the people.

We will see that God is dealing with all at different levels. Now then, we know that there are a lot of people there who were professing Jesus, and Trump said that he stood before them only by the grace of the Almighty God! We know that Trump does read the Bible.

  • How much of it? We don't know!
  • How much he understands? We don't know!

But he does believe in God!  God recognizes those people at that level who believe in Him.

I watched a good deal of the whole RNC Convention to see what was going on, and the people were pretty much all together and they were thankful to be there and they understood the gravity of the situation that took place.

Even those ministers reminded me of Jer. 23. Let's see what God says, I listened to their prayers; even Franklin Graham's prayer was a decent prayer. We know that they are not bona fide ministers of Jesus Christ in the Church. God's Word is so good and so true that even when those who don't know God refer to His Word, it's still true!

Jeremiah 23:20: "The anger of the LORD shall not return, until He has executed and until He has performed the purposes of His heart…"

Every prophecy in the end-time is going to take place according to the way that God wants. Everything down through time has been according to the way that God wants.

"…in the latter days… [those are the days we're living in today] …you shall understand it perfectly. I have not sent these prophets…"

Now you look at all the messages that a lot of the Protestant ministers are bringing, the Catholic priests are bringing, they bring in a little Scripture, and then they add in all their own ideas!

Verse 21: "I have not sent these prophets, yet, they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet, they prophesied. But if…" (vs 21-22).

I listened carefully to their prayers, I listened carefully to the words that were spoken, I listened carefully to the things that were brought up by the different delegates and the speakers, and I might say they all spoke very well, every single one of them.

Verse 22: "But if they had stood in My counsel and had caused My people to hear My words…"

So, I listened carefully to what they said, and they did speak the words of God, they did speak the Truth of God. Now there was a little Trinitarian mixed in, a little cross mixed in, but it's says:

"…then they would have turned them from their evil way…" (v 22).

In the whole mass of the convention, everyone could feel that this was quite an event that was taking place. There was more to it than people just being gathered there.

I listened to the speech by Tucker Carlson, and he's been trying to find God for quite a while, and he still hasn't found Him. But in his speech, he mentioned that even though that was a fact, he felt that God was there with them at the convention!

So, we will see, because when the people of God turn to God, maybe not in repentance unto salvation, but come back to God in the letter of the Law, want to do what is right, want to do what is good—if there is the time involved necessary to accomplish those things—then God will give them that time. So, it looks like we have that time, but notice here:

"…then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings" (v 22).

I thought about that as I saw what was going on. I listened to the prayers when they had them, and I think that they are sincerely trying to do on a national level what is proper.

Let's look at what is always going on by God through his angels, through what he's doing all the time in the whole world, and especially in these end-times. This is the one where God told Jeremiah to go down to the potter's vessel, to the house of the potter, and the vessel he was working on. He saw that he was working on it, and it didn't turn out good, so that the potter then mashed it all together and started to create a new vessel from that.

Jeremiah 18:5: "Then the Word of the LORD came to me, saying, 'O house of Israel…'" (vs 5-6).

That's why it's important to know that we are the 'lost' ten tribes of Israel. And in America, we probably have representatives of the 'lost' tribes of Israel, and we probably have representatives of all twelve tribes. Out of America, the preaching of the Gospel goes forth even to this day. Whatever time there is left, we need that time to preach the Gospel. There are many things that are taking place, and we will see them as they're happening.

But let's look at how God deals with nations. He deals with nations not on a conversion basis, because basically their minds have been blinded to the things of salvation! But they do understand certain things of God's Word. They do understand what is right and wrong in some cases. God says:

Verse 6: "'O house of Israel, can I not do with you even as this potter?' says the LORD. 'Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hands, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.'"

Think about that for just a minute. Sometimes we think God is way off. He said, 'I'm not a God way off, I'm a God near' (Jer. 23). When you look out at everything that there is, what do you see? God is holding up everything by the Word of His Power.'

  • the whole universe
  • the whole solar system
  • the earth
  • everything on it all the people on it
    • Who gives them air
    • Who gives them water
    • Who gives them food
    • Who gives them everything that they have
    • Who gives them life

Verse 7: "If at any time… [any time in history, past, present or future] …I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom…"

What does that tell you? That goes back to Dan. 2! That's very interesting indeed, because Daniel revealed this to Nebuchadnezzar: You know the story the king  had a dream, and he came to all of the specialists, the magicians and the and all of the 'intelligent' people and said, 'I want you to tell me my dream and tell me the interpretation of it.'

They said, 'We can't do it.' Nebuchadnezzar said, 'If you don't do it, I'm going to execute all of you.' They were all scared to death!

Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego got together and prayed, they asked God for the knowledge and the understanding of it. God answered that and revealed it to Daniel:

Daniel 2:19: "Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. And Daniel blessed the God of heaven."

Now, here's where we understand that God is involved in all the nations, all the time at different levels of activity.

Verse 20: "Daniel answered and said, 'Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings… [we don't have kings, but we have presidents] …and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him" (vs 20-22). God is the One Who raises up kings, puts them down!

Let's see what God says, and how this works out; Jeremiah 18:7: "If at any time I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck it up and to pull it down, and to destroy it."

Now, that's what it was looking like was coming here in America in very short order; the way that things have been going.

I want you to see how many times that God gives the condition—IF—the choice is ours. How many people out there not knowing God the way that we in the Church know God, but they understand that there is a God.

  • they know what is right and wrong
  • they know a lot about good and evil

but they don't have the personal conviction of conversion to have that converted attitude toward God. Those are the good people in the land that God deals with.

God says, v 8: "If that nation, against whom I have spoken, will turn from their evil…"

What have they been doing the last four years since all of this 'woke' attack has come upon us the day that Biden was initiated and inaugurated as President of the United States. It was unleashed like a wave of evil fury upon this whole nation, beginning with the school children; beginning with:

  • the transgender, beginning with all of the operations and sex changes and all of that
  • the elevating of homosexuals
  • the sexualizing of children
    • people began to fight against it
    • people began to go against it

Even so far that Louisiana had all the Ten Commandments posted and read in all of the schools. In Tennessee, the governor declared the month of July as a month of prayer and fasting to save the nation. Then there were other things that different states have done to turn down the evil.

God says, 8: "If that nation, against whom I have spoken, will turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do to them."

I look at it this way: We have reached this point that it appears—we hope it increases—that there are enough people who recognize God as a nation, as a people. Not for conversion, not for those to be in the first resurrection, but as God deals with the nation on a different level than He deals with the Churches!

So, we're looking at a time that evil thought to destroy Donald Trump. If you look carefully at those pictures of what happened to him and as he was speaking… There's a whole lot of stuff going on that appears to be an inside job.

Some people are thinking that Biden himself publicly gave the go ahead to kill Trump when he said that Trump has a "bulls-eye" on his back and must be taken out. But he would claim later, oh, well, that was just a simile. Why did the shot come a few days later?

Then all of the things that took place there, which were not correct in protecting Trump. When he got up there to speak and as he was speaking if you look at it again very carefully, he moved his head to the left.

And then all of a sudden, just before the bullet came, it veered to the right. I looked at that many, many times, and I can't help but think that that was probably the hand of an angel, which moved his head at the last second and the bullet grazed through the top of his ear.

Some of the lying mainstream media say, well, that was the plastic from the teleprompter—what they have to read from—but none of that was broken. Then they were able to slow down the picture and they actually got the frame where the bullet hit his ear. It showed the bullet passing through the top of his ear and out the other side. That was Divine intervention!

It's very interesting that Donald Trump, his whole family, and all there that were at the convention—and I dare say many, many millions in America—now understand that God spared Trump's life.

Let's hope that he's elected president. But just like Eduardo brought out in his message—Our Deliverer—the wicked are all in confusion. They don't know what to do. They can't get rid of Biden and they don't want to put up Kamala Harris, but they don't have anybody else to put up there because nothing would work.

That's also the hand of God as punishment upon them. So, yes, someone will ask: Should we pray for Trump? Of course!

Paul writes to Timothy that we should pray that the leaders of the world will let us have peaceful lives and to pray for them.

  • let's hope that Donald Trump gets in
  • let's hope that that will give us a time where it will open some more doors for preaching the Gospel
  • let's pray that all the Churches of God will really get active in preaching the Gospel and the return of Christ
  • let's look at things from the Biblical point of view

and ask God to help us to do what we need to do, whatever that may be

  • in our personal lives
  • in our fellowship groups together
  • as the Church as a whole
  • with the things we need to do to preach

I hope you can see how these men who are our elders are bringing their messages and you can see their improvement and their greater ability of preaching and explaining the Bible. I'm very happy about that because I'm 90 and I don't know how much longer I will live. I feel good. I have good health. That's fine. But you never know.

What we need to do is keep going the way we need to do, prepare for what we need to prepare, and help all of the brethren and to really be able to bring the Truth of God as much as we can to the world.

Let's look at the comparison between ancient Judah and what has been happening in America recently and the events that took place here with Donald Trump.

King Hezekiah was a righteous king and he did what was right in the sight of God. I want you to understand this—as we covered in the first part—God deals with the leaders of the nations! We'll see some parallels here that are very interesting and almost exactly as we find.

Hezekiah did well, God spared him from the invasion of the Assyrians, because he came to God and prayed and then he got sick and he prayed to God again when God said, 'Hezekiah, get your house in order because you're going to die.' So, he turned and prayed and wept and before Isaiah could get out of the court, God sent a message to Isaiah, 'You go back and tell Hezekiah that he's going to have 15 more years.'

God gave him 15 more years, and he did well until the ambassadors from Babylon came to find out what happened with the invasion of the Assyrians and all of the spoil and all of the riches and everything that the Assyrians had, the people of Judah took and put in the storehouses and in the Temple of God.

When the ambassadors came, they said to Hezekiah, well what is this that happened? So, he told them, 'I'll show you everything that I have.' Now he shouldn't have done that.

What happened? Isaiah came to him and said, what is it that you showed to the men from Babylon? 'I showed them everything.' He said back to Hezekiah, because you have done this, all of this is going to Babylon.

  • How long did it take for that to go to Babylon? Well over a hundred years!
  • Did it go? Yes it did!

Let's read what happened after Hezekiah died, and this has happened over and over again as you read the book of 1st & 2nd Kings and 1st & 2nd Chronicles, which is this: That there was a good king, then an evil king. A good king, a revival, and an evil king.

  • we will see that here
  • we will see what happened
  • we will see the parallels that we have today

2-Kings 21:1: "Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign. And he reigned fifty-five years..."

I want you to think how much time they had to practice all the evil that they were doing.

Verse 2: "And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel."

Freedom of religion! Isn't that a parallel that we have today?

  • you can worship anything you want
  • you can worship Satan
  • you can worship Islam
  • you can worship Hindu
  • you can worship Buddha
  • you can worship Catholic
  • you can worship Christian

and the true Churches of God can worship God!

Verse 3: "For he built up again the high places which his father Hezekiah had destroyed. And he erected altars for Baal…"—the sun-god! Guess what day is his day? Sunday!

"…and made a grove as Ahab king of Israel did. And he worshiped all the host of heaven and served them" (v 3). That is getting into:

  • astrology
  • Satan worship
  • evil spirits

Now do we not have the same thing happen here? Look at what happened as soon as Biden got into office! It was like an avalanche against the whole nation of America:

  • with all the 'woke'
  • with all the evil
  • with all the satanism

We'll talk about the great sin that we have today which has yet to be addressed.

"…And he worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. And he built altars in the house of the LORD… [right at the Temple of God] …of which the LORD said, 'In Jerusalem I will put My name.' Then he built altars for all the host of the heavens…" (vs 3-5)—astrology!

  • to the sun
  • to the moon
  • to the stars
  • to Venus
  • to Jupiter
  • to Neptune

"…in the two courts of the house of the LORD. And he made his son pass through the fire" (vs 5-6)—to dedicate your children to be burned to Molech!

Let's see what Jeremiah told the children of Israel in Jer. 19. This brings up the great sin that is hanging over America that is very, very, very hard to undo.

Jeremiah 19:1: "Thus says the LORD, 'Go and get a potter's earthen jar, and assemble some of the elders of the people and of the elders of the priests.'" Why? Because they were the ones who

  • allowed all of the evil
  • gave justification for it
  • said that people have the right to do it

Just because it can be done doesn't mean that God approves it!

Verse 2: "And go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom by the entry of Potsherd Gate. And there declare the words that I shall tell you. And say, 'Hear the Word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and people of Jerusalem. Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel…'" (vs 2-3).

Notice what He tells them. We've had a lot of evil brought upon us. But it looks like the hand has been held back a bit because there are enough people trying to do good, and there are enough people trying to stop the great sin of abortion.

He said, "Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, which shall cause the ears of him who hears it to tingle. Because they have forsaken Me…" (vs 3-4). Is that what it is with people today?

  • there are some who believe that there is a God
  • there are some who think they're worshiping God
  • there are actually the true Churches of God who are worshiping God

But as a whole, the nation has forsaken Him. For what? Well, you read in 2-Tim. 3 that 'in the latter days perilous times shall come because of lovers of self and lovers of pleasure.'

Look at one of the things that people do that is non-religious, but tramples on the Sabbath and tramples on the Truth of God, which is all the sports activities. Those people think they're doing good and they have their allegiance to their teams. That's one! The greater abomination is, as we will read,:

Verse 4: "Because they have forsaken Me, and have profaned this place and have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents."

What is that? Today, that's the blood of the abortion of killing the child in his mother's womb with the consent of the mother and probably the man who engendered it!

But they have killed in America alone, not to say in the rest of the world how much more they have done it, but in America alone, 62-million! That's a figure that's hard to wrap your mind around! God does not forget!

The question becomes, how many of those 62-million mothers—or maybe less than 62—are going to repent and forsake abortion? To give you an example, there's one woman who bragged she had 40 abortions. But she doesn't consider herself a murderer of 40 people, nor is she brought to court to stand trial for murder.

Verse 5: "They have also built the high places of Baal to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal…"

That's what they have done! You tie that all together, that's all the various parts of abortion. There is a whole industry of evil that's in the land, and that is they take the body parts of these aborted babies and they do scientific experiments with them to try and get the knowledge of the genes and chromosomes so that they may change and warp and ruin the creation of God with their own inventions; create and devise medicines, medications, and things like this.

One of the most prized possessions of the aborted parts of the babies is a full head. That is the great evil of America. There have been a lot of people against it, but they haven't had the power politically or religiously to stop it.

So, we will have to see how many people try and put away as much as they can.

God says of that; "…which I never commanded nor spoke, nor did it come into My mind" (v 5).

That's the great sin! Then it talks about all the evil that's going to come because of that.

Verse 6: "Therefore, behold, the days come,' says the LORD, 'that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but, The Valley of Slaughter."

Mark every Planned Parenthood and then mark every hospital that has all of these transgender operations for young children to change them permanently, ruin their lives.

At least there were those at the convention for the Republicans who stood up and said there are two genders, male and female. That has to be said because of the evil that's been going on.

Verse 7: "And I will make the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem come to nothing in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of those who seek their lives. And I will give their dead bodies to be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth."

That is what God did! So, there's a lesson for us today.

  • What are we going to do? It looks like God is going to give a little reprieve, a little time!
  • What will people do?
  • Will they turn from their evil?
  • Will they stop as many abortions as they can?

Some states will! State of Idaho is outlawed it. One other state it is outlawed. Louisiana had ten Commandments posted and read in the school, as I said before, about Tennessee.

Notice what God says he would do to Jerusalem, and understand, He did this, and He did it twice.

Verse 8: "'And I will make this city a waste and a hissing. Everyone who passes by shall be astonished and shall hiss because of all its plagues. And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their own sons and the flesh of their own daughters, and they shall each one eat the flesh of his friend in the siege and distress, with which their enemies and those who seek their lives shall afflict them. Then you shall break the jar before the eyes of the men who go with you, And shall say to them, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Even so I will break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter's vessel that cannot be made whole again'" (vs 8-11).

We haven't quite reached that point, yet; but in some areas, it's pretty close. Would you not say that's pretty close in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles? Very close!

There was a great warning sent, as I mentioned earlier, a great warning that the enemies of America mean it! The drug enforcement people caught smugglers bringing in drugs that are 50 times more powerful than fentanyl! I want you to think on that. With 100,000 people being killed from fentanyl, if this is cut loose in America, what will it do?

You need to realize! Let's not get all lifted up and happy that it looks like things are going to be better for a while. It will be a superficial improvement because the blood of the innocent still cry out!

2-Kings 21:6: "And he made his son pass through the fire and observed times and used witchcraft…."

How many witches do we have in America? Stop and think about this for a minute! People read the Old Testament, and they don't understand why God has brought about the execution of those who commit certain sins. Witchcraft is one of them!

Why execute witches? They would say, 'Oh, we're good witches.' They pervert other people! Their execution is to protect the innocent. Same way with perverted sex! They're given a chance to repent, and if they don't repent, execute them so you don't have a whole generation of perverts, which we have today!

It's an historical fact that when a country, any nation, gives itself over to perverted sex within three generations, that nation collapses or it's taken over by another nation all the way down through history.

  • What do you think is going to happen to America?
  • What do you think is going to happen to different places in the world?

"…And he dealt with familiar spirits and wizards. He worked much wickedness in the sight of the LORD to provoke Him to anger" (v 6).

They were given a warning; v 9: "But they did not hearken. And Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations ever did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel. And the LORD spoke by His servants the prophets, saying, 'Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, doing more wickedly than all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols'" (vs 9-11).

Here's what we need to understand: We may have a time of peace, but what will be done to help change the moral climate of the people? Yes, you can improve the economic situation with people, but unless there's an equivalent change of moral behavior, these same curses will come upon us!

God says, because they did this; v 12: "Therefore, thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Behold, I am bringing evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, so that whoever hears of it both his ears shall tingle.'"

  • What are we going to do?
  • What happened? God delivered them; He sent Josiah!

Now think about this: I want you to grasp how long this evil persisted. Manasseh reigned for 55 years. Josiah started when he was eight-years-old, but it wasn't until the 18th year; so we've got 55 and 26, so we've got 81 years of evil before there was a real change. What we need to understand is that God has given plenty of time for there to be change!

Things were so bad under Manasseh that the whole house of God was completely corrupted with all of these idols, and they even lost the Book of the Law. Hilkiah the high priest found it, and he brought it to Shaphan, and Shaphan then read about the blessings and the cursings to Josiah in his 18th year, which means he was 26. Let's see what happened.

  • We don't know how much the change may take place in America
  • We don't know how much it's going to parallel what is here

but at least if there's a move for the people

    • to do good
    • to do right
    • to be law-abiding
    • to put away the criminals
    • to get rid of the drug dealers
    • to get rid of those who have come in here illegally

Remember that because of the sins of Israel, God prophesied that the stranger within our gates would get up high above us! How many times have we read that?

Now look at the potential for what that is in America. We are sitting on a keg of dynamite, really. So, here's what Josiah did:

2-Kings 22:11: "Now, it came to pass when the king had heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes."

That is a sign of great grief and repentance. Then he commanded, go find out from Huldah the prophetess what's going to happen. So, hold of the prophetess said:

Verse 15[transcriber's correction]: "And she said to them, 'Thus says the LORD God of Israel. Tell the man who sent you to me, "Thus says the LORD, 'Behold, I will bring evil upon this place and upon the people of it, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read, because they have forsaken Me and have burned incense to other gods so that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore, My wrath shall be kindled against this place, and it shall not be quenched.'" But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus you shall say to him…" (vs 15-18).

See how God deals when there is real repentance. I don't know how much Donald Trump has repented after that shooting. I don't know what his thoughts were. But his thoughts and his attitude right now for America means a great deal!

If his thoughts and his attitude are humble before God and right before God, we may see a time of a little more peace and a little more prosperity and this is an opportunity to preach the Gospel and an opportunity for more people to come to God and give a little respite from the evil. But remember always hanging in the background is the innocent blood of all of the aborted!

"…'Thus says the LORD God of Israel, "Regarding the words which you have heard, because your heart was tender and you have humbled yourself before the LORD…"'" (vs 18-19).

That's what it is! We don't know how much Donald Trump in his private moments on his knees has humbled himself to God, but we can probably be very sure it was very tearful and thankful and grateful. If you watched him closely when these things were taking place at the convention, and they were talking about how God intervened to save him, it was all he could do to hold back the tears.

So, all of you out there who hated Donald Trump and there are some people I know of, one man who used to sit right here in the front row of our meeting hall who turned completely 'woke' with his unconverted wife and hated Donald Trump.

I tell you, you better understand what God is doing and you better recognize that if Donald Trump has repented and humbled himself before God, that God will honor that and the whole nation will be blessed because of it!

But there better be a whole lot of people, whole lot of those that are evangelicals, that they got to turn to God. There better be a whole lot of the Protestant ministers and Catholic priests that forsake all the lies that they've been saying in the name of Jesus:

  • a false Jesus
  • a false Christ
  • a false Gospel

and come to the Word of God! God will honor repentance of anyone anywhere who really repents!

Verse 19: "'Because your heart was tender and you have humbled yourself before the LORD, when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its people (that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn your clothes and wept before Me), I have heard you,' says the LORD."

Don't you suppose that everyone involved, and Donald Trump especially, got on their knees and prayed to God? Like Donald Trump said, 'Being President, I have nothing to gain but to serve the people.'

To all of those of you out there who have hated Donald Trump:

  • Could you have gone through all of the trials that he went through?
  • Could you have gone through all of the things that he endured with the impeachment?
  • Could you go through all of the things that were:
    • thrown up in his face
    • thrown at him?
    • cursed at him?

Yet, stand there and say that he wants to serve the people?

  • remember God honors repentance
  • remember God deals with nations
  • remember God deals with the leaders of nations

So, keep that in mind!

God says, "…'I have heard you,' says the LORD. 'Behold, even so I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace. And your eyes shall not see all the evil that I will bring upon this place.'" And they brought the king this word again" (vs 19-20).

  • What did the king do?
  • What did he do?

He immediately took action to undo all the evil of the things that had been done by Manasseh!

Look at all of the evil things that have been done by the Biden administration to tear down this country by all of the evil people that support them. The stars in Hollywood, the mainstream media, the billionaires of the world to support them.

God's going to deal with all of them, but He's also going to deal with every one of us in His Churches.

What are we in the Churches going to do? We discussed that at the elders conference that we had on the 14th of July. I can tell you one thing, that there are two churches in particular that have the leaders of those churches need to repent before God in the same way that Donald Trump has repented, and thank God for saving him from death:

  • Gerald Flurry, who worships Iraq, who worships Herbert Armstrong, who rules his church like Adolf Hitler. He needs to repent!
  • David Pack of the Restored Church of God taking money, ruling like a Gestapo!

Listen, all of the elders of God and all of the Churches better serve the brethren

  • in love
  • in truth
  • in righteousness

Even as Eduardo said, the Righteousness of God to the people, to serve them!

  • we're not here to serve ourselves
  • we're not here to get great names for us

We are here to preach the Word of God:

  • to teach the people of God
  • to help them repent
  • to help them grow and overcome
  • to attain to the Kingdom of God

That's why we're here; we're not here for any other reason. All of the brethren are there:

  • to learn of God
  • to learn of His Truth
  • to live their lives the way they need to

We're all looking forward to the first resurrection!

We're going to have to face some tough times! We don't know what it's going to be or how it's going to be, but it's going to come. At least for the time being, there may be a turning back of the hatred toward those who profess to be Christians, whether in full Truth or whether in partial Truth. So, we're also involved in all of this ourselves.

Just because God has called us out of the world, we're the called, the chosen, and the faithful doesn't mean that we can stand aloof and stick our thumb in the eyes of those of the world.

  • God deals with the world
  • God deals with everyone

So let's see what he did. This is quite a thing!

2-Kings 23:1: "Then the king sent a summons, and they gathered to him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem. And the king went up into the house of the LORD…" (vs 1-2)

Well, they're not going to do it today, but if Trump is inaugurated and he is sworn in, all the leaders will be there, right? Similar to it! And he's going to swear to defend the Constitution, so help him God!

Now, after receiving that wound in the ear, don't you think that he's going to mean it with all his heart? Yes, indeed! As he said, he doesn't need this for himself, but he needs it for the people of America.

"…And all the men of Judah and all the people of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets, and all the people, from the small even to the great. And he read all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which was found in the house of the LORD in their ears" (vs 2). So, this was quite a thing!

Now, notice what the king did. We heard this when Donald Trump gave his speech: 'I pledge to the American people…"

Verse 3: "And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD to walk after the LORD and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant, which was written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant."

You look out there at that whole convention, every single one out there, even his past enemies, were on his side and willing to help him carry out what he said he would do. Now, it's not exactly like this, but it's very similar to it, and there are the parallels there.

Verse 4: "And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels, which were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven. And he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron and carried the ashes of them to Bethel."

Now then, Trump is going to get rid of a lot of people in here who are murderers, rapists, child abusers and pedophiles that have come into this country. He's going to export them out. That's the best he can do; that's a close parallel to this.

Verse 5: "And he removed the idol-worshiping priests…"

Well, that's up to the people with the election. You're going to remove all of these hideous Democrats who are God haters, atheist and perverts. It's up to you!

"…whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places…" (v 5)—etc.

Verse 6: "And he brought out the Asherah image from the house of the LORD outside Jerusalem to the brook Kidron…"

Verse 7: "And he broke down the houses of the sodomite, which were by the House of the LORD…"

The whole Methodist Church today has gone homosexual, so much so that all the Methodists in Africa have left them. Think about that! Those who used to preach about Christ now embrace perverts!

Then they went on and they kept a real return to God days of Unleavened Bread.

  • How long will this last?
  • How long will it be for the people to carry through?
  • How much can they do?
  • How much can the leaders do?

Psa. 78 is quite a Psalm; it rehearses a lot of things we already read. {Note Deut. 28}

Psalm 78:29: "So, they ate and were filled to the full, for He gave them that which they craved."

Isn't that true? Think about this today:

  • Do we have anything we lack?
  • Do we have anything we don't need?

I also want to point out how frail that this modern society really is. One man with one computer, shut down a great section of the whole Internet working system that included airlines, that included all kinds of other things, companies. One man, because he made a mistake. So, don't think just because things are here that they cannot disappear in the flick of a switch.

Verse 30: "They were not turned away from their lust, but while their food was still in their mouths, the wrath of God came upon them and killed the strongest of them, and struck down the chosen men of Israel. For all this they still sinned and did not believe in His wonderful works" (vs 30-32).

That's the question that has to come up today. All of these who profess themselves to be evangelicals, who profess themselves to be born-again Christians" What do you really believe? All of us, every single one of us, must come to God on HIS terms!

We don't tell God to come to us; so, you better rethink about what you're doing.

Verse 33: "Therefore, He ended their days in vanity and their years in terror."

Isn't that about what's been happening in America here recently? Yes indeed!

"When he slew them…" (v 34).

  • Hasn't it been happening?
  • Haven't there have been murders, rapes, all this going on?

Verse 34: "When He slew them, then they sought Him; and they turned back and sought after God earnestly."

There may be some who are doing that. Let's hope so!

Verse 35: "And they remembered that God was their Rock, and the Most High God was their Redeemer. Nevertheless…" (vs 35-36).

I want to ask all you, not only in the Church, but everyone out there who is professing any form of Christianity at all—and even those who don't believe in it—you better start getting your house in order and your thoughts in order and coming to God like it says in Isa. 55:

You return to God and you change your thoughts and your way and your will and you come to God!

Verse 36: "Nevertheless, they flattered Him with their mouths…"

Oh, they said all the right words, but what was in their head? Same thing with every person!  God is interested in what you speak, but He's more interested in what's in your head! What needs to be changed in the head is called conversion! The only thing that can do that is for:

  • true repentance
  • true baptism
  • true receiving of the Spirit of God

within your own mind so that you can be truly converted! Not have 'a religion' where you flatter Him!

Verse 36: "Nevertheless, they flattered Him with their mouths, and they lied to Him with their tongues." God wants it complete inside out!

Verse 37: "For their heart was not steadfast with Him; neither were they faithful in His Covenant.

But notice, notice! Just because God will show compassion to you, don't think that everything's good between you and God!

Verse 38: "But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them; yea, many times…"

  • How many times in America has God turned His anger away from us? Think about that!

or

  • In your own life personally, what you have done?
  • How many times has God spared you from the ultimate penalty of your own sins that you could be converted? Think on that!

"…many times He turned His anger away and did not stir up all His wrath, for He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away and does not come again. How often did they provoke Him in the wilderness and grieve Him in the desert! And still again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel" (vs 38-41).

I'll let you read the rest of it! All of this is important for us to understand. Those parallels back there and all of the lessons in the Bible are for us today and are for us with the circumstances that we are faced with right now. We can be sure that if Trump gets into office, all of the forces of evil are going to figure out how they can come and destroy as much good as they can!

They are going to be set up to try and take over again. God has knocked them down right to the ground at the present time. But they are not going to stay there!

Donald Trump was very wise in choosing a young man, J.D. Vance, to be his Vice President. So maybe this tells us we have more time, perhaps even beyond the term of Trump. We'll have to see; that will depend upon the people.

Now, for us in the Church, that may give us a time to really preach the Gospel!

  • What are we going to do?
  • How are we going to say it?
  • Where are we going to go?
  • What door is God going to open?

All the Churches of God need to quit your idolizing of Herbert Armstrong. Now, he did a great work, but he also did great evil. When you say the true God is the same as Allah—and that was the main thing he was preaching overseas for 17 years—that's why the Church was destroyed! That's why we have been scattered!

So, you better get right with the teachings of the Bible and the doctrines of the Truth and your heart right with God! That's what needs to be.

Not only does the world need to repent, all of us in the Churches of God need to repent for the stupidity and the idolatry that we've had toward men! That is not good!

If you think God is going to correct the nation, remember what He did to the Worldwide Church of God, which was a big deal! That was because of sin! That's why we've got to:

  • stand by the Truth
  • live by the Truth
  • worship God the Father and Jesus Christ
  • love each other the way God wants us to love each other.
  • preach the Truth regardless of what people think

but:

  • what God thinks
  • what God inspires
  • what God wants us to do

So, here we are, brethren, this is where we are!

We don't know how everything is going to go, but we need to put it in God's hands. These are tumultuous times that we are living in. These are dangerous times that we're confronted with. The enemies are all around!

Those who hate God have been in charge. Those who at least honor God will maybe succeed them and give us a little peace and respite for a while, but we better be busy doing what God wants us to do!

That's the comparison between today and what happened in ancient Israel.
