The key to right standing with Jesus Christ and God the Father!
Fred R. Coulter—November 15, 2025
Rev. 12:17 talks about what’s coming ahead with the persecution and things. Notice how the world more and more:
That is instigated by Satan the devil. Now, when the persecution arises:
Revelation 12:17: “Then the dragon... [Satan] ...was furious with the woman... [the Church of God] ...and went to make war with the rest of her seed... [we’re going to face tough times ahead of us] ...who keep the Commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
So, the topic today is God’s Commandments and God’s love. Let’s see another thing, because it’s preached too many times:
the Law has been done away
the Commandments have been nailed to the cross
everything in the Old Testament has been fulfilled
we don’t have to keep any of the Commandments of God
because if we try to do so, that’s working out our own salvation! Not so!
Revelation 14:15—talking about those who will be in the first resurrection: “And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him Who was sitting on the cloud, ‘Thrust in your sickle... [that’s the harvest of the Christians] ...and reap, because the time has come for You to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’”
Verse 12: “Here is the patience of the saints... [the true believers] ...here are the ones who keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
you have to have the Commandments of God
you have to have the faith of God
you have to be able to keep the Commandments of God
That’s why He gave them!
Now, clear back when Jesus started His ministry; come back here to Matt. 4. We’ve covered this so many times, we all know it by heart. Jesus said, after the temptation of Satan the devil, He described exactly what it is, how we are to live.
This applies to all men, all women, regardless of the age, regardless of where you are, regardless of what nation you’re living in.
When Jesus was tempted by Satan to turn stones into bread (Matt. 4:3). He answered, and this sets the whole tone from the Old Testament and into the New Testament:
Matthew 4:4: “...‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”’”
Now then, let’s get one thing real clear, keeping the Commandments of God, the Protestants say that it’s a curse!
It’s not a curse! The curse of the Law is the penalty for sin! The Law is Holy, Righteous, good and true! Now, for all of those who think that the Law has been:
abolished
done away
set aside
because of Jesus; you have it all wrong!
You need this book: Judaism, A Revelation Of Moses Or Religion Of Men, and this will tell you that the battle in the Gospels and in the New Testament was a battle against the Laws of Judaism.
Have you ever seen or heard of this book: Code of Jewish Law? It’s got the thousands and thousands of laws that the Jews have invented themselves, the traditions of Jews, which Jesus said, ‘Full well you reject the Commandments of God that you may keep your own traditions.’
Matt. 5—Jesus clarified it right at the first, and we will see how this is applied and how it carries over into the New Testament in a very profound way. Because if you don’t have law, you have lawlessness! What do we see today? Lawlessness everywhere. Hatred everywhere!
Matthew 5:17: “Do not think... [don’t let it enter your mind, don’t suppose it] ...that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill”—to make complete!
The prophecy of Isa. 42 says, to make the Law glorious! In other words, to bring out the spiritual meaning of the Laws:
how great they are
how wonderful they are
how God will bless you when you do it
That’s what God wants! Now let’s see what else He said here:
Verse 18: “For truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth shall pass away...”
Think about that! Heaven and earth are still here. So, anyone in any capacity, any church, any religion says that the Laws and Commandments of God are done away are lying through their teeth!
Verse 18 makes it very clear: “For truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth shall pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law until everything has been fulfilled.” I want all you:
Sunday-keepers
Christmas-keepers
Easter-keepers
Listen to this v 19: “Therefore, whoever shall break... [transgress] ...one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven...”—doesn’t say they will even be there!
Do they teach that every Sunday?
Do they say that it’s been done away?
Do they say it’s been the ‘Old Law’?
Do they say it has nothing to do with the New Testament?
What did I just read to you in the New Testament? Those who keep the Commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus and those who keep the Commandments of God and have the faith of God!
Verse 20: “For I say to you, unless... [listen to what Jesus said, because this makes it absolutely clear]: your righteousness...”—of keeping the Laws and Commandments of God, not the Laws of Judaism.
Read in Mark 7 that Jesus said, ‘When they keep their traditions, they reject the Law of God.’ Now, all those who keep Sunday are rejecting the Law of God,which says, ‘Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy.’
No man can change the Commandment of God to make Sunday Holy. That is an absolute satanic fabrication, as Lyall pointed out in his message: Satan vs Christ’s Church #1
Verse 19: “Therefore, whoever shall break... [transgress] ...one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall practice... [live by! What did Jesus say? Live by every Word of God!] ...teach them, this one shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Let’s understand that the connection between Commandment-keeping and the Laws of God and the love of God are all one package! We will see that in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Let’s see something very important about:
Commandment-keeping
the love of God
our love back to God
We will see that it all fits together and that the Laws of God are also for all the physical nations. Look at what we have in America today. Lawlessness abounds. That means people are not respecting any law. Lawlessness is the result of that, and you trace this back in history and it goes right back to what Lyall said. It came from the pulpits.
Deuteronomy 4:1: “And now, O Israel...”
You need our book, America and Britain, Their Biblical Origin and Their Prophetic Destiny, because we have in America all 12 tribes, remnants of the tribes of Israel. Don’t be fooled by what the Jews call ‘Israel’ in the Middle East. That should properly be called Judea.
Why do we have the Bible?
Why do we have the Word of God?
Because God said that His physical people, the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, would have the Word of God!
He also has shown that they won’t keep it, even though He gave it! Even though those, when the Law was given, heard the voice of God.
Deuteronomy 4:1: “And now, O Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the judgments, which I teach you, in order to do them...”
Notice why: Because the wages of sin, which is transgression of the Law, is death! Why keep them?
“...so that you may live and go in and possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers gives to you. You shall not add to the word, which I command you; neither shall you take away from it, so that you may keep the Commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you” (vs 1-2).
Over here in Deut. 5, is where He gave the Ten Commandments. Anyone who says that the Law is a curse is an absolute idiot! I don’t care if they have 20 degrees after their names; they’re idiots!
We’ll go through the Ten Commandments because this is important for us to understand. Same thing in Deut. 5, He repeats them again.
Deuteronomy 5:1: “And Moses called all Israel... [you put your name there] ...and said to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day so that you may learn them and keep and do them.’”
Verse 6: “I am the LORD your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage.... [because they were enslaved to the system there] ... You shall have no other gods before Me” (vs 6-7).
Look at what we have today. New York City elected a man who is a Muslim, and Muslims hate Jews even though they smile and say, ‘We’ll be nice.’ He’s an enemy, and as I pointed out last week: the enemy shall rule over you! That’s all a result of sin. That’s all of the result of the Lawlessness that’s going on in America, and they have other gods. The biggest god that they have is Satan.
satanism
other gods
other religions
Other gods before the true God!
Verse 7: “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make a graven image for yourself of any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or on the earth beneath, or in the waters beneath the earth” (vs 7-8).
Look at the Vatican
Look at every Catholic cathedral.
What do they have?
statues
saints
crosses
crucifixes
God says don’t do it! That ought to be enough to make every Catholic stop and think: What are you doing coming into this house of idols?
Verse 9: “You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me.”
Stop and look around! Everyone who hates God has all kinds of troubles. Right now we are dealing with the worst hatred of all generated by those who want to live a life like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Verse 11: “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain....”
Now every time that a minister gets in the pulpit and says ‘we don’t have to keep the Law’ he’s taking the name of God in vain! God wants us to have it and we’ll see why in just a little bit.
Verse 10—think about this verse whenever anyone says that was all done in hatred, and that was all done away, nailed to the cross. Whatever they want to do to get rid of the Laws of God!
Verse 10: “But showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My Commandments.” Right there in the book of Deuteronomy!
Do you want blessings to come upon you?
“But showing steadfast love to thousands...”
Do you want God to love you?
Do you want God to bless you?
“...of those who love Me...”
Now we’re going to see how important that is when we come to the New Testament, because they quote the verse all the time:
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish, but may have everlasting life.”
True statement, but they don’t even know what that means, because they turn around and they reject Jesus with the next verses that they twist and turn and misinterpret!
You want the love of God? You’ve got to love Him!
Deuteronomy 5:10: “...and keep My Commandments.”
‘Oh but Paul rejected that.’ No, he didn’t!
You need a book that we have: The Apostle Paul’s Teaching on God’s Laws. Let’s see what Paul said of the Law. There are difficult Scriptures to understand, but there are also Scriptures that are easy to understand.
Rom. 7—Let’s see how this agrees with what we’re going to read continuing on in Deut.:
Romans 7:12: “Therefore, the Law is indeed Holy, and the Commandment Holy and righteous and good.” But when you break it and you sin, there’s a penalty for that! That’s why he says:
Verse 13: “Now then, did that which is good become death to me? MAY IT NEVER BE! But sin, in order that it might truly be exposed as sin in me by that which is good, was working out death; so that by means of the Commandment, sin might become exceedingly sinful.”
In other words, the Commandments tell us what not to do, and they tell us also what sin is. And no one is going to make it into the Kingdom of Heaven—in the first resurrection when Christ returns—unless they’re loving God and keeping His Commandments and have the faith of Jesus Christ and His testimony!
Deuteronomy 5:11: “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold the one guiltless who takes His name in vain. Keep the Sabbath Day to sanctify it...” (VS 11-12)—to keep it Holy!
Everyone knows which day is the Sabbath Day. It’s the seventh day! But even the Seventh-Day Adventists have so many of their own teachings and idolizing of Ellen G. White that they themselves are missing the boat even though they profess to keep the Sabbath.
Verse 12: “Keep the Sabbath Day to sanctify it as the LORD your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God....” (vs 12-14).
Verse 16—the next Commandment, and compare this verse with what’s going on in the world, with what’s going on right now in America:
all the rebellion
all of the hatefulness
all of the Lawlessness
Verse 16: “Honor your father and your mother as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that your days may be prolonged...”
look how many die because they reject what their parents teach them
look how many lives are ruined because they reject the Laws of God and dishonor their parents
“...and that it may go well with you in the land which the LORD your God gives you” (v 16).
Verse 17: “You shall not murder.
It’s very plain in the Hebrew. It means no murder! Look at what we have today:
How many murders?
How many abortions? Abortion is murder killing the most innocent!
Verse 18: “And you shall not commit adultery.”
That is, any sexual activity outside the sanctity of marriage! Look at Sodom and Gomorrah, the worst sexual things that they practice and do are in positions of rulership:
in government
in churches
in schools
All of these things are taught because this Commandment is broken!
Verse 19: “And you shall not steal.”
That’s the first thing that the government needs to learn!
Verse 20: “And you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. And you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor shall you covet your neighbor’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s” (vs 20-21).
Now, there is quite an organization out there that is trying to help young people get their lives straightened around; it’s called Turning Point USA. The martyr [Charlie Kirk]—who was assassinated by a transsexual—when he was interviewed and asked ‘why he kept the Sabbath’... He was keeping the Sabbath and coming to understand it even more and was cut short by the assassin. You can read the review probably on YouTube where he says, ‘he keeps the Sabbath and it helps him to keep the rest of the Ten Commandments.’
IF I’m honoring the Sabbath I’m not lusting after my neighbor’s wife, I’m not lusting after his property.
IF you keep the Sabbath that helps you keep the rest of the Ten Commandments.
Verse 32: “And you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you so that you may live... [that’s what God wants] ...and that it may be well with you” (vs 32-33)..
no crime
no adultery
no sin
sickness will be removed
“...and you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess” (v 33).
Deut. 6—let’s see the same thing here; let’s see why this nation could be really on top of the world, so to speak, IF they would follow God rather than reject God!
One of the biggest things that is very difficult in America is this ‘freedom of religion.’ You’re free to have any religion, which means you’re free to bring curses upon everybody and yourself when you reject the Truth of God.
Deuteronomy 6:1: “Now, these are the Commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God commanded to teach you so that you might do them in the land where you go to possess it.”
Remember how we came into the land?
they were believing God
they prayed to God
they punished the criminals
everyone was serving and helping each other
Verse 2: “That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His Commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be diligent to observe it...” (vs 2-3).
not throw it away
not say it’s outdated
“...so that it may be well with you, and that you may greatly multiply, as the LORD God of our fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey” (v 3).
That describes America more than anything else, and this is the nation that God gave to us.
You need our books
They don’t even know what the love of God is, because they claim everything for themselves.
Verse 4: “Hear, O Israel. Our one God is the LORD, the LORD.”
That is defined in the New Testament as God the Father and Jesus Christ; in the Old Testament it is Jehovah or Yahweh and the Most High! I want you to ask yourself this:
You want the love of God? Fine!
Do you love God back?
How do you love God back?
1-John 5:3: “For this is the love of God: that we keep His Commandments...”
What does Commandment-keeping have to do with love and loving God? Commandment-keeping confirms your love of God! Maybe you never thought it that way!
Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel. Our one God is the LORD, the LORD. And you shall love the LORD your God...” (vs 4-5).
Now listen to this very carefully:
all of you who say that the Old Testament has been fulfilled
all of you who claim that the Laws have been rejected
all of you who say we don’t need to follow it
We’re going to see that completely disproved!
Verse 5: “And you shall love the LORD your God... [notice what kind of love that we give to God]...with all your heart... [all your emotional feelings and everything] ...and with all your soul...”—the physical part of our body that gives us physical life, and we are to take care of it!
Today look at all the sickness look at all the disease look at everything. That’s all because of Commandment-breaking because of:
other gods
adultery
homosexuality
transsexuality
Verse 5: “And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart” (vs 5-6).
you think about them
you meditate on them
you understand them
Remember that Jesus said: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word of God!’
Matthew 22:36—one of the Pharisees said to Jesus: “Master, which commandment is the great commandment in the Law?’”
Does this carry over into the New Testament what we read in Deut. 6? Yes indeed, we will see it!
Verse 37: “And Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest Commandment’” (vs 37-38).
Do you do that?
Do you reflect in your behavior if you claim:
that you love God
that you keep His Commandments
that you honor Him that you live by every Word of God
What is it that you do?
What is your life?
Where are you going?
Verse 39: “And the second one is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (vs 39-40).
Now IF this nation kept the Ten Commandments and the other Commandments of God as the Law of the land as the Law of the religions:
not having any other religion
not having any other way
Think of the blessings that would come, not only physically in the nation, but spiritually leading to salvation when you put the whole New Testament together with Deut. 6.
Remember what He said: He didn’t come to abolish the Law but to fulfill!
Did he not just state it right there in Matt. 22? Think how much better off our children would be how much better off our schools would be IF this verse was applied!
Deuteronomy. 6:7: “And you shall diligently teach them to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house and on your gates” (vs 7-9).
We will see in a little bit what that means spiritually when you are a Christian:
What is God going to do?
Why does He give His spirit, His Spirit of Truth
Verse 10: “And it shall be when the LORD your God has brought you into the land, which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities which you did not build, and houses full of every good thing which you did not fill, and wells which are dug, which you did not dig; vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be full” (vs 10-11).
Now listen carefully because in America we have eaten to the full, and as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is showing much of our food is so polluted either with poisons or so processed that it doesn’t give any life. That’s why we have so much sickness, and that goes right back to rejecting God
Verse 12: “Then beware lest you forget the LORD Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage.”
Like Lyle pointed out in his message come out of Babylon the Great, because Babylon the Great is an expansion of everything that was in Egypt.
Verse 13: “You shall fear the LORD your God and serve Him, and shall swear by His name. You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people who are all around you” (vs 13-14).
Now let’s come to Deut. 8 and see this again about the love of God. Everyone wants the so called unconditional love of God to come to them. Well we will see that God’s love is not unconditional!
God’s love is eternal but it is very conditional for salvation and a relationship with God! Because you want the love of God, but you don’t want to love Him back!
Right there in the book of Deuteronomy, which they say has all been done away, it says: ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and being’ and that was carried on over into the New Testament, as well!
This is why you need to study the Old Testament you need to study the prophets and all of your children need to study and learn the Proverbs that will help them:
become more successful
become more intelligent
have more ability than any of the other teenagers around them
They will be wise in the way of God!
Deuteronomy 8:11: “Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His Commandments... [we reject them as a nation; oh, some keep some of it] ...and His judgments... [Do you know what they are?] ...and His statutes...”
Do you know what they are? They are His annual Holy Days!
Have you ever heard of them?
Do you know what they are?
Do you know that God’s Plan is wrapped around the fulfilling of his Holy Days?
all of Christendom established Christianity rejects them out of hand
the Jews claim them for all their own, but the Jews don’t keep them the way that they should be kept
Verse 12: “Lest when you have eaten and are full and have built goodly houses and lived in them, and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied, then you become haughty of heart... [in rejecting the Word of God] ...and you forget the LORD your God Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage” (vs 12-16)—who led you through the great temptation and so forth!
Verse 17: Beware lest you say in your heart...”
This is what we are saying to ourselves now today let us build a great nation again let me tell you something if you don’t build it on truth and law and order it’s going to collapse!
Verse 17: “Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, so that He may confirm His covenant, which He has sworn to your fathers as it is this very day. And it shall be if you do at all forget the LORD your God and walk after other gods serving them and worshiping them... [and that’s exactly what we are doing today] ...I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish–-yes, perish” (vs 17-19).
Weren’t we on the road to destruction until we woke up and elected Donald Trump as President? He acknowledges that God saved his life to save this nation, and that’s where we were right there.
Come to the New Testament and let’s see some things in John 14 because this is one of the most important chapters in the entirety of the Bible; it confirms everything that we have covered so far in Deut. Let’s understand Who Jesus really was.
He was the Lord God of the Old Testament
He divested Himself of His Divinity to become a pinpoint of life to be begotten in the womb of the virgin Mary, and to become God manifested in the flesh
John 14—this was on the night of the Passover, which then shortly after Jesus gave what we’re going to read:
He was arrested and hauled off to a mistrial
beaten
scourged
crucified and died
His shed blood and only His shed blood on the Passover Day
Having nothing to do with Easter that is an absolute lie!
Having nothing to do with ‘Good Friday’; that is an absolute lie!
The Passover Day in which He was crucified was in the middle of the week so He could be in the tomb three days and three nights, exactly as He said!
But most people don’t understand it! They are so deceived they believe in a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday resurrection, which is a satanic lie!
Jesus was warning them, because this was going to be a desperate night and a desperate day.
John 14:1: “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were otherwise, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you” (vs 1-2).
That’s what Christ is doing now, and we’re going to see what is our relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father, because of what He was going to suffer?
Verse 4: “‘And where I am going you know, and the way you know.’ Thomas said to Him, ‘Lord, we do not know where You are going; how then can we know the way?’ Jesus said to him... [here it’s very clear] ...‘I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me’” (vs 4-6).
That is the true Jesus who gave His life, Who was God in the flesh! This is what is meant by the Father gave His only Begotten Son. but we read in John 10 that Jesus said, ‘No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down for the sheep,’ and all of those who are true Christians are the sheep of God!
Verse 7: “‘If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also. But from this time forward, you know Him and have seen Him.’ Philip said to Him, ‘Lord, show us the Father, and that will be sufficient for us.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have I been with you so long a time, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; why then do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” (vs 7-9).
Now here’s the key, right here; v 10: “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me?....”
That’s what you have to believe of Christ! There are those like the Jehovah Witnesses who say that Jesus was not God! Well they’re liars!
He clarifies it: “...The words that I speak to you, I do not speak from My own self; but the Father Himself, Who dwells in Me, does the works” (v 10).
Christ had the Spirit of the Father within Him, and that’s what we receive when we are baptized and receive the Holy Spirit with laying on of hands!
Verse 11: “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; but if not, believe Me because of the works themselves. Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me shall also do the works that I do; and greater works than these shall he do because I am going to the Father” (vs 11-12).
That’s testified there in Acts 5 where even the shadow of Peter passing by those lining in the street with the sick, the shadow would touch them and heal them! that was a work greater than Christ did.
This shows our relationship of prayer to God the Father every day. Go back to Matt. 6 where the model prayer is, how does it start out? Our Father Who is in heaven, Holy is Your name! Your will be done on earth, meaning to the one who’s praying: in my life as it is in heaven!
Verse 13: “And whatever you shall ask in My name, this will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. IF...” (vs 13-14).
I want you to pay attention to the conditions and the number of ifs, because this is conditional upon us!
IF we want God in our lives here’s what we must do
IF we want to receive eternal life here’s what we must do
Because all of those who claim that they can say a 10 second prayer and now they’re ‘saved forever’ are absolute liars! Billy Graham and all the rest of them, and his son Franklin today.
Verse 14: “IF you ask anything in My name, I will do it. IF you love Me, keep the Commandments...” (vs 14-15).
What did it say back in Deut. keep the Commandments?
What did Jesus say of the Law? It’s not done away He came to fulfill!
Verse 15: “IF you love Me, keep the Commandments–-namely, My Commandments.” He expands on that a little bit later here!
IF you want the blessing from God
IFyou want the Holy Spirit from God
THEN you have to do it God’s way!
Verse 16: “And I will ask the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter...”—the Power of God!
The Holy Spirit is NOT a third person in the Trinity what the third person in the Trinity is, is Satan the devil trying to worm his way in between God the Father and Jesus Christ! Anyone who believes in the Trinity is sanctifying Satan!
“...He shall give you another Comforter, that it...” (v 16). That’s what it is in the Greek it’s not a person, it is the power of God!
“...that it may be with you throughout the age: Even the Spirit of the Truth...” (vs 16-17).
you can’t be living lies
you can’t be preaching lies
you can’t be endorsing lies
you must yield to the Spirit of Truth
“...which the world cannot receive because it perceives it not, nor knows it...” (v 17).
No they don’t know it; God the Father has to give it! That’s called a ‘begettal,’ and to be ‘born again’ you have to be begotten again! Just like WHEN you were first conceived you were begotten in your mother’s womb by your father, and THEN you were born!
Likewise, WHEN we repent and are baptized and received the Holy spirit THEN we grow in grace and knowledge to qualify to do what God wants us to do with:
“...the Spirit of the Truth, which the world cannot receive because it perceives it not, nor knows it, but you know it because it dwells with you, and shall be within you” (v 17).
That’s what it is we must have: the Spirit of God within us by direct begettal from God the Father! That’s why we love God and keep His Commandment.
you’re not going to get it if you keep all of the pagan satanic days
you’re not going to get it if you are a rabid Sunday-keeper or holiday-keeper
It will not come!
Verse 18: “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. Yet, a little while and the world shall see Me no longer; but you shall see Me. Because I live, you shall live, also. In that day, you shall know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you” (vs 18-20). That is after His resurrection!
Verse 21 is very important because this is the key of right standing with God and becoming begotten with the Holy Spirit so you can grow in grace and knowledge and be in the first resurrection!
Verse 21: “The one who has My Commandments...”
Do we have them?
Do we have all the Old Testament and all the New Testament? Yes!
“...and is keeping them, that is the one who loves Me...” (v 21). Think on this:
IF you don’t keep the Commandments of God, you don’t love God
IF you don’t keep the Commandments of Jesus Christ, you don’t love Him
and don’t think you’re going to have any form of eternal life!
I’ve got to answer the question of David Jeremiah about the promise of heaven; he’s got it all mixed up he’s got a Kamala Harris mind about heaven—a word salad!
“...and the one who loves Me shall be loved by My Father...” (v 21).
Think about that! That’s what grace is all about; direct contact between each one of us and God the Father in heaven above with Jesus Christ at His right hand!
“...shall be loved by My Father...” (v 21).
Do you want to be loved by the Great Sovereign of the whole universe?
Do you think you’re going to receive the love of God:
IF you’re rejecting His Commandments?
IF you’re living in sin?
IF you’re hating, killing, robbing and looting?
NO!
“...and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him” (v 21).
That is by a calling, which a calling of God you can identify this way:
There comes a day when you want to know about God! You start finding out about God, that is answering the call! That’s how Jesus is “...manifest to him.”
Verse 22: “Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, ‘Lord, what has happened that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘IF anyone loves Me...’” (vs 22-23).
This is so important! IF we love God we will keep His Commandments!
“...‘IF anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word...” (v 23).
What did He say in Matt. 23? Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and being!
we believe God
we obey God
we love God
“...and My Father will love him, and We...” (v 23)—because there are two parts to the Holy Spirit; from God the Father and Jesus Christ—WE!
“...We will come to him and make Our abode with him” (v 23)—right in the spirit of your mind!
That is what the promise of conversion is! But notice the conditions:
IF you love Him
IF you keep His Commandments
IF you believe Him
I want:
every Protestant
every Catholic
every minister possible
every Catholic priest, bishop cardinal, pope
LISTEN:
Verse 24: “The one who does not love Me does not keep My words...”
That’s a powerful statement! That includes all of those who don’t love God!
Verse 24: “The one who does not love Me does not keep My words...”
you reject them
you reject the Old Testament
That’s why with this Franklin Graham and other Protestant ministers’ sweet little prayer is a satanic lie, and:
has nothing to do with conversion
has nothing to do with God the Father
Verse 24: “The one who does not love Me does not keep My words...”
You can’t get it any more plainer than that, stronger than that, or more direct from the One Who says it: from Jesus Christ!
“...and the Word that you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s, Who sent Me” (v 24). That’s quite a thing! Unless there is:
the love of God
Commandment-keeping
loving Jesus Christ
keeping His words
keeping His teachings
knowing that they are coming from God the Father
This is the most powerful part of the Gospel section of the Bible right here! Let me go over them again so you really, really get the point and you can really understand what you need to do in rejecting all of the Christianity of this world, which goes against God!
Verse 21: “ The one who has My Commandments and is keeping them, that is the one who loves Me...”
you confirm your love by Commandment-keeping
you can’t say, ‘I love God’ and break all of His Commandments
you can’t say, ‘I love Jesus’ and reject His teachings
“...and the one who loves Me shall be loved by My Father...” (v 21).
That’s powerful! What is it that God the Father is so absolutely great—the Great Sovereign of the universe—
that He gives us of His Spirit
that we can be called His children
that we can grow in grace and knowledge and overcome
—so we can be in the first resurrection, and we will be like Jesus, because we will see Him exactly as He is!
“...and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him” (v 21).
Verse 23: “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘IF anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word...”
You can reverse it and say: IF you’re keeping the words of Jesus you are loving Him!
“...and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him” (v 23)—inter-dwelling within us by the power of the Holy Spirit, which is called the Spirit of the Truth!
not the spirit of compromise
not the spirit of anything else
BUT
the Truth of God
the Love of God
the Righteousness of God
the Commandments of God
everything that God has given to us
That’s why we have the whole Bible!
Notice on the other hand, He makes it absolutely clear:
Verse 24: “The one who does not love Me does not keep My words...”
Or you can reverse that: ‘The one who does not keep My words does not love Me.’ Isn’t that the way it is? Yes!
So these are important for you to know and understand and we’ll have this recorded so you can use it at any time for anyone for discussion.
“...and the Word that you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s, Who sent Me. I have spoken these things to you while I am yet present with you. But when the Comforter comes, even the Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in My name, that One shall teach you all things, and shall bring to your remembrance everything that I have told you” (vs 24-26).
That makes it very, very clear! So, anytime anyone says to you that IF you keep the Commandments of God you’re trying to work out your salvation. No you’re not!
You’re loving God and obeying Him, and He will work out your salvation! That’s why it’s important!
for nations in the world He expects them to be law-abiding and have common sense
for those who are true Christians we just covered right here:
this defines true Christians
this defines the true Jesus Christ
this defines the Holy Spirit as the Power of God
this defines God the Father the Sole Ruler of the universe
He wants to give those who love Him and love Jesus Christ eternal life!
This is why it’s so very important, especially living in the days that we are living in right now and all the trouble that’s on every side.
